VW Front Coil Spring Isolator Pad for 1971-1979 VW Super Beetles

They aren't essential to the operation of the Super Beetle front strut suspension, but the coil spring isolator pad will help to quiet the ride. VW typically used one pad, between the spring and the lower strut housing., Since the front strut mount is made of rubber it isolates the strut from the body there. Oddly enough, most factory VW diagrams show the isolator at the top mount. So, if you want the quietest ride possible, install them at both ends. The pads are sold individually, either 2 or 4 will be needed per car depending on whether or not you want to install the pads at both sides, or just the bottom, or top.
