EMPI's forged king & link pin steering carriers provide a durable and high-strength upgrade for off-road and performance applications. Designed with integrated gussets for added reinforcement, these carriers are machined for proper steering clearance and include pre-installed grease fittings for easy maintenance.

Please Note

Pressing the brass king pin bushings into the steel carrier causes the bushings to shrink. VW designed this "shrink to fit" method, requiring a VW 224 reamer or a .710" reamer to properly size the bushings. Failure to use the correct reamer will prevent the king pin from fitting into the bushing after installation.
