VW Flywheel Dowel Pin Set – 1200cc to 1600cc Engines

Aligns the flywheel to the crankshaft for secure fitment
Prevents twisting under high rotational forces
Longer 11/32" diameter pins fit deeper to resist shearing
Can be used to restore crankshafts with elongated holes
Sold in sets of 8

Flywheel dowel pins align the flywheel to the crankshaft and key it in place to prevent it from twisting due to the rotational force of the crank. These dowel pins are used on all 1200cc/40HP to 1600cc-based VW engines. These longer length dowel pins fit deeper into the crankshaft to protect against shearing under high twist loads. Additionally the larger 11/32" diameter dowel pins can be used to revive crankshafts with elongated holes. Crankshaft may have to be drilled deeper to accept longer .750" long dowel pins. Sold in sets of 8.
