Late Beetle Sunroof Diagram

Built from 1964 to 1972, originally came with a rubber seal and felt strips around the perimeter. The rubber seal is no longer available. It did not prevent water from entering the vehicle. Rather, it helped reduce wind noise. This is how the sunroof was engineered. If you have water leaking in, check your drain tubes and ensure they are not blocked. The felt strips help divert water to the drain tubes.
