Terminal Identification for VW Windshield Wiper Switches.
141955517 Windshield Wiper Switch, Two Speed:
VW Bug 1961-67VW Ghia 1961-67
VW Type 3 1967
VW Type 2 68-72
The two speed wiper switch can be used on any 1 speed motor. Use the information below to assist with the wiring. Replacement Wiper Switch Terminal Definitions:
30 - POWER FROM FUSE BOX
31 - CHASSIS GROUND
31B - SWITCHED GROUND TO WIPER SWITCH
53A - PARK POSISTION (54 on early model wiper motors/switches)
53 - SPEED 1 (54D on early model wiper motors/switches)
53B - SPEED 2
Some wiper switches or motors may have only 2 or 3 terminals. Wire up your original motor to the terminals or their cross over number listed above.

Installing the turn signal switch is pretty easy. It is modular and clips into the Turn Signal Switch. The wiring runs down the steering column and plugs into the Wiper Switch Harness "pigtail".
