My Beetle comes from Mexico and it's a 1979 model. I got this car in 2009 and it was a gift from my uncles at the time and it has remained in the family, it was named as "Vocho" which is the nick name of this vehicle in Mexico.

I must say that initially it was just another car and I never saw it as something special, however as time went by I began to see it differently and to get a taste for it so I decided to keep it in good condition and as original as possible. I was driving the car until 2015 before coming to the United States, although I had plans to bring the car, it was never possible until finally this 2024 I was able to move it here.

I started my restoration project and it has been one of my great hobbies, I have learned to make the modifications and I have enjoyed seeing the changes it has had and every time I take it out for a drive people give me good comments which is very satisfying. The JBugs site has been my favorite place and has helped me along this path. Great place to buy if you are looking to restore your classic VW.
