1967 VW Beetle
Lance Briggs
In 2010, our youngest daughter was thinking about attending college in Pocatello, Idaho. She was looking for a car to drive around the town so when this car came up for sale, we took it for a test drive. We soon realized that this car was a little to low to enter into some of the campus parking lots and businesses around town. On the drive home, I called my wife to let her know we were going to have to keep shopping, and she suggested that I get this car for myself. What a sweetheart!
Since owning this 1967 Type 1, I have done minor repairs, tune ups, and an engine rebuild (it was smoking a bit when I got it). At one point, it had the fewest miles, and was the most reliable car we owned.
