I have always wanted a classic Beetle. My wife promised to buy me one when I finished my masters degree. I am not sure if that was a goal she thought I would never complete, but at 42 I finally completed an MBA from Rogers State University in Claremore, OK and in April 2023 I purchased a 1969 Beetle. Since then I have completed a full tune up, fixed all electrical issues with lighting, wipers, etc and replaced the carpeting and some interior work. It drives like a dream and is just what I have always wanted. Thus far we have not given the bug a name. We recently entered the Beetle in its first car show.
