1971 VW Beetle

I have had VW’s all of my adult life, and I’m well beyond a senior. I’ve had to get rid of all of them over the years for one reason or another.
This one I got as my retirement project in 2017. Worked on as I could, replacing anything worn, and tried to get it as close to original as I could, with just a regular 2-car garage and regular guy tools.
Back on the road in early 2021. Never really finished when it’s a hobby. The only thing I didn’t do my self was the paint. I have a toy collection as well of more than 600 VW’S of some sort or another. Some might call it an obsession, I call it just plain fun.
My granddaughter calls my Bug "Lemon".
