Our high quality VW Headlight Lens seals stretch around the glass used on early headlight assemblies. The seal sits between the lens and chrome trim ring. They are noticeably smaller than the glass lense by design. Place the flat side of the lens seal against the glass, and stretch the ridges over the front & back edge of the lens. Lens seals come as a pair and fit the 1946-1966 Beetle and 1956-1967 Bus.

The seals are considerably smaller than the lense. This is correct as the seal has to be stretched around the glass lense. The seal has a flat side and side with a recess on it. The flat side side faces the glass with the two higher edges going over the front and backside of the glass.
