The 113198031 VW oil change gasket kit comes with all the gaskets and washers required to re-seal your engine sump plate after an oil change. We import these seal kits directly from Germany because they provide the best seal possible. Like us, we're sure you're tired of a leaky sump plate. Why not use the best product available and avoid all that headache?

The kit can be used on all 1200cc (40HP) to 1600cc based engines, These engines which were originally found in the following classic VWs:

1961 to 1977 Standard Beetles
1971 to 1979 Super Beetles
1961 to 1974 Karmann Ghias
1961 to 1971 Type 2s (Bus, Single Cab, and Double Cab)
1961 to 1973 Type 3s (Notchback, Squareback, Fastback)
1973 to 1974 Thing

The paper gaskets install on either side of the oil screen. One goes between the screen and the engine case and the other goes between the oil screen and the sump plate. The small copper washers install between the sump plate and the acorn nuts. The large copper washer installs between the sump plate and the drain plug in the center.
