The JBugs Premier VW hood seal is the best on the market today and is backed by our lifetime guarantee. This is the seal we use on our own cars. The seal is made in a modern factory, with our modern tooling and made out of rubber compounds that far exceed the standards of what VW originally used. The VW hood seal is identical to the original with molded corners that have prongs to hold the seal into the back edges of the trunk opening. At the top and the sides, the seal slides into the rounded metal strips. The hood seal fits 1961 through 1977 Standard Beetles and 1971 through 1972 Super Beetles.
