This VW Stock Style Mirror is compatible with 1968-1977 Beetles and Super Beetles. This reproduction side mirror will fit the right (passenger's side) and is made in Taiwan. The mirror will also fit the left side of 1962 through 1973 Type 3s (Squarebacks, Notchbacks & Fastbacks) although it is not a true factory appearing mirror for the Type 3.



Please read the additional information before you order:
Do not overtighten mirrorn when installing.
Do not over tighten the mirrors when mounting on your vehicle. The mounting nut is fragile and will break!!!
VW Passenger side mirror spring adjustment.
  • If the spring leans to one side over the threads and hinders installation please try one of the following:
  • Loosen the nut and re-center the spring.
  • Unthread the nut and reverse the spring.

  • Most Beetles did not originally have a passenger side mirror installed when sold new. Please inspect your passenger side door to make certain that it has the mounting hole in the door. If it does not, part # 133-000 will need be glued or epoxyed inside your door after drilling a hole for it. This should be done prior to the door being painted!



Chrome Maintenance and What to Expect:

We put this notice on all chrome products, regardless of manufacturer, or origin.

Chrome plating is an electro-plating process that is highly regulated due to the environmental impacts of the chemicals, metals, and the exhaust gasses released during the process.

We highly recommend maintaining any chrome on your vehicle by applying a car wax or detailing spray on a regular basis

Here are some additional tips:

  • Hubcaps - Spray paint the inside with paint or rust inhibitor, wax chrome finish regularly
  • Bumpers - Spray paint the inside with paint or rust inhibitor, wax chrome finish regularly
  • Exterior Mirrors - Lightly wax chrome finish regularly
  • Exterior Chrome Trim - Lightly wax chrome finish regularly

If you properly maintain the chrome and keep your car stored in a dry, non-salty-air environment, the chrome will last.
