VW 4 Lug Sport Wheel Lug Nut Caps

  • Black plastic caps designed to cover stock lug bolts

The VW 4 Lug Sport Wheel Lug Nut Caps cover the stock lug bolts on sport wheels that VW first offered in 1972. The wheel is identifiable by the 4 raised edges that split from the center of the wheel. The sport does not accept a standard chrome VW hubcap which would have covered the steel lug bolts. Instead it uses these black plastic lug nut caps which fit all stock 251601139 4x130 lug bolts that VW first offered in 1955 on Type 2 Bus models, 1966 on Type 3s, 1967 on Karmann Ghias and in 1968 on Beetles. The lug bolts were used by VW through 1979. The lug nut caps were first offered in 1972 and used on VWs that came equipped with the Sport Wheel. Original Part # 111601173

Don't forget to order a new sport wheel center cap (133-171A).
