These VW Front Emblem Fastening Clips fit 1968-1972 Type 2 Bus models. The 4 plastic clips fit tightly (very tightly in fact) around the mounting posts of the nose emblem. Then the emblem, with the clips in place, can be pressed in place into the holes on the nose of the Bus. There are no seals for the holes so the clips are by design, a tight fit.

Ideal installation:
Use a heat gun to warm up the clips and press them into place on the emblem mounting studs. Then press the emblem into place into the body.

Alternate Installation:
Open up the clip slightly with a drill bit, use caution to not over drill the hole as a loose fit will render the clips useless. Press the clips into place on the emblem mounting studs. Then press the emblem into place on the emblem mounting studs. Then press the emblem into place into the body.
