EMPI 1967 Type 2 Disc Brake Conversion Kit

Converts 1967 Type 2 Bus models from drum to disc brakes

Includes a master cylinder, brake hoses, bearings, seals, and installation hardware

EMPI's bolt-on disc brake kit converts 1967 Type 2 Bus models from drum to disc brakes. The kit features heavy duty brake caliper brackets that bolt directly to your stock spindles and a 5x205mm disc brake rotor that accepts the stock 14x1.5mm lug bolts. A new master cylinder with reservoir, front brake hoses, bearings, seals, grease caps and all necessary installation hardware including Loctite and wheel studs if you are not running stock wheels. The EMPI Type 2 Disc Brake Conversion Kit will clear stock Bus 14" VW wheels, and most all stock and aftermarket 15" and larger wide 5 VW wheels. Some cap clearancing may be needed on aftermarket wheels. The disc brake conversion kit will narrow the front track width 3.41mm.
