Seals the bowden tube to the chassis tube
Keeps dirt, debris & moisture from damaging your VW
Increases accelerator cable lifespan

The VW accelerator cable tube seal installs on to the metal accelerator cable tube that exits the chassis and seals the guide tube for the accelerator cable. Having a good seal will help prevent debris from getting into the tunnel as well as the tube, which will increase the lifespan of the cable inside. The accelerator tube boot fits 1971 through 1977 Standard Beetles, 1971 through 1979 Super Beetles, 1971 through 1974 Karmann Ghias, 1971 through 1973 Type 3s and 1973 through 1974 Things.
