Weber VW Carburetor Only (Electric Choke) - Progressive 32/36 DFEV

The Weber 32/36DFEV Progressive 2 Barrel Carburetor offers the best of performance and economy for your VW. The carburetor features a 32mm primary barrel for cruising and when you step on it a second 36mm barrel opens progressively to offer more performance. The progressive carburetor is jetted for Type 1 1300-1600 based engines. We recommend the carburetors for displacements up to 1700cc. This is a Weber Carburetor only without the air cleaner, carb linkage or intake manifold.

The Weber Progressive Carburetor choke and adjustment screws will sit against the fan shroud making adjustment difficult!

This is the way the carburetor was adapted to fit as it was never intended for use on a VW engine. The choke element has an electric power supply, make sure that the wire is insulated from the fan shroud and make sure that the wire is fused! Again, keep in mind that all of the idle adjustments are against the fan shroud and can be difficult to access with the carburetor installed. If you want an economical carb with the performance of the progressive carburetor barrels, this is the only choice.
