If you're familiar with VW racing, there's a good chance you've heard of these carburetors. The Weber 48 IDA has been a go-to choice for high performance engine builders for decades for good reason. EMPI has been instrumental in the re-introduction of the ever popular WEBER 48 IDA.

These carburetors are the latest production model #48 IDA 4R. They are the 2-hole bypass style and come right out of the box with 37mm Venturis and jet screens already installed. If all out horsepower is your main concern, Weber 48 IDAs are the best carb for the job. All 48 IDA kits include competition hexbar linkage. This kit features aluminum crossbar mounts at the velocity stacks and intake manifolds that are clearanced for the area around the upper intake port at the head. This carburetor kit is not stock for any VW, modifications may be required.
