Our all new original style dual port intake manifold will fit all Type 1 based, VW engines that have dual port heads. This manifold features and includes built in heat risers that are cast into the manifold. The outer casting has the cut out like the original to prevent interference between the alternator and intake manifold. The carburetor base flange is a direct bolt on for a 34PICT-3 carburetor. If you have a 28PICT or 30PICT-1 carburetor, this manifold will still work, but you will need to use an adapter plate.

No Trimming Required

This manifold does not require any trimming. Many of the other intake manifolds out there require you to trim or grind down the ends of the manifold because the ends are too long where the manifold meets and connects to the end castings.  Not with this manifold, it is made to the proper length.

Original Style with Heat Risers Built-In

This is a true, original style intake manifold. The heat riser tubes are cast and built into the intake manifold to ensure proper air flow and no exhaust leaks. When designing this product, we made sure that the heat riser tubes matched up to both stock and aftermarket exhausts.  When using a stock-style carburetor, heat risers matter to ensure proper acceleration from idle.
