This is a complete wiring harness for the 1970-1971 VW Beetle Sedans, Sunfoofs & 1970 Convertibles. Our complete wiring loom will wire your entire car from headlights to tail lights. These complete wiring kits are great for repairing old dried out wiring, or replacing the original wires after a new paint job. The wiring harness is made from original wiring loom schematics, are factory color coded and are made with OEM AMP terminal ends. The wires are factory length and pre-terminated. Our complete harness includes detailed instructions which will simplify the task of rewiring your 1970 or 1971 VW Beetle. The harness does not include switches, any wiring that is part of a switch, a fusebox, battery cables, ground straps or relays.

This complete wiring harness is designed for use with a 10 circuit fuse box and a dash mounted wiper switch. If your 1971 Standard Beetle has a column mounted wiper switch and a 12 circuit fuse box, use the 1972-1973 Beetle wiring harness.

Please Note

The wires that are attached to the ignition switch, turn signal switch and the steering column bearing are not included with the harness. Those wires are part of those components. The battery ground cable, the battery positive cable (along with the supply wire that attaches to the voltage regulator) and the transmission ground strap are not included.

Wiring harnesses can only be returned if the packaging remains sealed. Once opened, they are non-returnable.
