Classic VW Seat Belt Kit with 3 Point Retractable Belts

Upgrade the safety of your classic VW with our end-release, 3-point retractable seat belt kit. Three point retractable seat belts are safer, that's why all new cars come with them. Enjoy the same peace of mind, safety, and security while in your classic VW. This seat belt kit features an end-button release buckles "cable style" front, 3 point-retractable seat belts along with matching lap belts for the rear. The lap belts feature the same buckles as the fronts and are adjustable on the belt with the tongue. The end-release, button design features a tough plastic exterior with metal internals. This complete seat belt kit saves you money over purchasing each belt individually and is available in 5 colors to best match your VW interior. Each set comes with matching plastic retractor housing and shoulder cover. The retractor must be mounted vertically for the retractable mechanism to lock properly.

If you have a 1962-66 beetle or a 1962-66 Karmann Ghia, you will need seat belt adapter plugs (P/N: ZVW20PLUG) for proper installation if the car is original and the previous owner did not already install them.

There are certainly cases where we prefer original components for restorations but seat belts are not a place where we opt for originality over safety. Our seat belts are made in the USA and certified for use in passenger cars. When it comes to keeping you and your loved ones safe in your Vintage VW, don't take chances with 40 plus year old components!
