This is my 1973 Beetle Baja known as "Big Red". It's been 2 years in the making. I had to take it all the way down to just a shell. The improvements I made during the course of the build include converting to disc brake all the way around, custom paint and trim, front and rear bumper cages, and a new wiring loom. I upgraded to a 1904cc, 90 horse power engine Gervais engine, from the stock 1600. I also installed a new carpet kit, door and side panels, dash pad and headliner, custom red steering wheel, custom electrical system, off road wheels and tires, off road KC spots and fog lamps, new axles, all new stainless steel trim and, added my red M&M mascot.
