All new and exclusively from EMPI! Zero offset forged spindles restore correct steering geometry and front track width. These all-new spindles are forged just like the original equipment. Stronger and dimensionally accurate, they will improve handling, plus no more alignment issues. These drop spindles are made for use with stock shocks. Fit drum brake applications only.

Important notes:

• Drop spindles are not compatible with Super Beetles!
• Ball joint drop spindles require 1968.5 and later style outer tie rod ends, inner wheel bearings, and wheel seals.

Tire compatibility:

Drop spindles require the use of shorter, smaller diameter tires to maintain standard driveability. While stock-sized tires may appear to fit when parked, they will rub during driving, particularly around corners or over bumps. Heavier loads will exacerbate this issue, making smaller tires a necessity.
