Intermittent Wiper Control Module for VW With Column-Mounted Switch

Who doesn't appreciate the intermittent wipers with the convenience of being able to have the wipers only wipe after a short delay as needed. The RE13027 module was designed specifically for the VW Beetles, Karmann Ghias, Type 2 Bus models and Type 3 with 2 speed wiper motors and a two position, column mounted switch. The module installs inline between the two and has three intermittent settings as well as the original low and high speed settings.

How do you use it? Simple, turn the wipers on to the original low speed position and the wipers will operate with a roughly 8 second delay. If you want the wipers to operate faster, turn the knob to the high speed position then back to the low speed position and they will run with about a 5 second delay. Do the same thing to go to a roughly 3 second delay, and once more to go to the factory low speed position. At any point you can turn the switch to the high speed position for normal operation, or if you want to slow the wipers down go from the low position to the off position and back to low to slow the wiper operation down, and of course leave it there to turn the wipers off. It really is quite intuitive and easy to use!
