This is Woodstock, our 1969 Karman Ghia that we purchased in 2003. Woodstock is so named because of the 1969 music festival near Woodstock, NY. We drove Woodstock in the 2010 Karman Ghia Restoration Treffen going from Portland, OR to Los Angeles, CA down the Pacific Coast Highway. We drove her from Clifton, TX to the Smoky Mountains in TN and back (for a VW show and one the furthest driven), and the western side of PA with the Freedom Road Rally group. We frequented the Texas VW Classic show until they disbanded.
The pictures attached are of Woodstock in front of a covered bridge in TN and in a field of Texas Bluebonnets in front of our home.
