1968 VW Beetle

Roger & Barbara Loos

I would love for you to consider my 68 Autostick for your website. Her name is Annie. (Named after my late mother.)

How she came into our life? My wife was just poking around on f.b. for side gig work. And she found a gal looking for someone to do a oil change and valve adjustment for her 68 bug. And growing up around volkswagens. It was a easy gig. She showed up with a for sale sign on it.

After working on it. I was really having fun. So I told my wife I want it. Se sad we couldn't afford it. So I asked my buddy if he wanted to go 1/2 on it? So my wife in time got together with my good friend and went and negotiated and picked her up for 2 grand!! I came home from work and there she was! A big surprise!!

We really didn't do much modifications. Just massaged her back to her full glory. Just made sure everything would function properly. Rebuilt the carburetor and pulled the motor fixed oil and exhaust leaks cleaned up and painted the tin work. Went through brakes and new drop spindles and bearings. Lowered the rear a-bit for an even stance. She is such a good runner. And a great car to share with my partner. We have had her for over 6 years. And Absolutely Love Her.
