Why We Love These

It seems like it had been a while since there were new seat upholstery options and designs for your Beetle. That's why we got together with TMI Products and came up with a modern seat design that matches their popular Pro Series seats, but made it so that it fits your stock VW seat frames.

The distressed vinyls look and feel like real leather, yet offer the cost savings and durability of vinyl. It feels "soft" like leather, it also doesn't have that shine that vinyl tends to have. Instead, these vinyls have a matte finish just like higher end leather.

The outer edges of the upholstery have tucked, French Seams instead of piping. This style is more modern than the old-school (some might say aged) look with piping. If you have a custom Bug and you are looking for a new interior, these seats give you modern options and materials that have not been available, unless you went to a custom upholstery shop.

Finally, this upholstery was designed for your Bug! No need to buy aftermarket seat frames or fabricate custom seat mounts. The seats use "Stock Style" seat foam, and are designed to fit on your stock seat frames.

Sport Upholstery Features: Cleaner Seams French Seams: No Piping These new Sports Seats feature French Seam along the edges instead the thick vinyl piping traditionally found on classic VWs. French Seams with contrast stitching give the seats a cleaner "sportier" look and a smoother feel. They look more modern, and prior to this release the only way to achieve this look was to have your seats custom made in an upholstery shop. Modern Styling Horizontal Ladder Stitching on Backrest The backrest features a modern "Ladder" stitching pattern, just like on new vehicles made today. Not only that, but you can choose between distressed vinyl or matching unisuede fabrics for the backrest inserts. Hand Crafted Style Stitched Pattern Heatseams & Stitched Vertical Pleats New from TMI, the Sports door panels feature a stitched pattern instead of a straight heatseams found on standard VW door panels. Door panel top half also introduces vertical pleats, a feature not found on any other TMI door panel. These might seem like subtle changes, but its noticeable enough to make your door panels truly stand out. Simple Installation Installs Over Your Seat Frames Best of all, there is no need to buy brand new seat frames or aftermarket seat mounts. Sport Seat Upholstery is made to install over your existing seat frames & foam padding. Brand new seat foam is highly recommended to fill out the new seat fabric. Will not work with OEM horse hair or coco fiber padding. Custom Sport Colors

These options were originally found on high-end muscle cars and classic Ford or Chevy trucks. Now available in complimentary colors for your classic VW. Give your Beetle a unique custom look with these Sport Series Seat Covers and Door Panels.
