All one-piece window kits require the installation of the following:
• Left & Right 1965-1968 regulators.
• 1965-68 Window Channels (sold as a pair).
• Must replace standard door check rods with cable check rods (P/N 9756). Otherwise you will shatter the window when trying to open and close the door while the window is rolled down.


This one-piece window kit from EMPI features tempered glass windows, extra long felt channels, and inside and outside snap-in scrapers that must be glued into place. This kit only fits 1965 to 1977 Beetle Sedan models. One piece windows are more for looks than function. If the look (getting rid of the vent wing window) is more important than function, these are for you.

A word of advice: All one piece windows commonly rattle, whistle in the wind, and don't seal out water well. It's not a design flaw so much as you are eliminating factory weatherproofing components and replacing them with aftermarket scrapers and seals which leave a gap where the vent wing assembly previously was. Use of a car cover is strongly recommended.
