These VW door panel clip Seals are sold as a set of 56 which is enough for all four interior panels in a Beetle. The door panel clip boots fit into the the holes in the door and quarter panels before the door panel clip is secured to the door. This boot provides a more secure fit for the door panel, seals out moisture and eliminates many annoying squeaks.

Also Used to Seal the Body Molding Clips for 1954-1966 Beetle

This same seal is also used for the chrome body molding along the doors, rear quarter panels, and hood of 1966 and earlier Beetles. This seals prevent moisture from entering the car and rust from forming in the holes where the metal molding clip is inserted in body holes for side and hood molding.

These seals are for use with a 5/16" hole, common on most air cooled models. Some late model Type 2s (Buses, Single/Double cabs, Westfalia or camper models) have a 1/4" hole. These seals will not work fit a 1/4" hole.
