EMPI Front Conversion Bumper Brackets for VW Beetle

Allows use of early blade bumpers on late model Beetles
Bolts directly to stock mounts and exits through fender hole
Powder coated satin black and sold as a pair

EMPI's front conversion bumper brackets are designed to mount early Type 1 (1954–1967) blade bumpers onto 1968–1973 Standard Beetles. The brackets share the same base dimensions as stock brackets where they mount to the body and taper down to early-style dimensions as they exit through the fender. These brackets are finished in satin black powder coat and are sold as a pair. They are recommended only for use with blade bumpers, as they do not provide support for over-rider bars.

Note: These conversion brackets do not fit Super Beetle models.
