The PerTronix Ignitor ignition kit is a drop in points replacement kit for Bosch 009 and 050 distributors that eliminates the old points and condenser. Convert your 009 or 050 distributor to an electronic ignition for a worry free ignition and get an increase in spark voltage, performance and economy. The Ignitor Ignition module reguires the use of a coil with 3 to 4.2 ohms of internal resistance. Pertronix recommends the 40611 or PT40501 coil, available separately in the Additional Options tab above.
A coil with 3 to 4.2 ohms of resistance is required with the Pertronix Ignitor Ignition Module.
Compatible with Bosch 0231 178 009 and 0230 081 050 Distributors.

-No moving parts to wear out
-Sealed for protection against dirt, oil, grease and moisture
-Stable timing for a "set it and forget it" ignition timing adjustment
Electronic ignitions and distributors are not compatible with original Fuel Injected engines.
Note, Suppression or Spiral wound spark plug wires must be used with the Ignitor, solid core plug wires will cause electronic interference!A coil with 3 to 4.2 ohms of resistance is required with the Pertronix Ignitor Ignition Module.
