Front Right Replacement Floor Pan Patch Panel for VW Beetle

• Covers from the front firewall to just before the seat rails
• Approximately 30% floor coverage
• 0.045" thick sheet metal (approximately 18 gauge)

This front right replacement VW Beetle Floor Pan patch is designed to replace a rusted out, damaged, or cankered floor pan section. The patch roughly covers the area from the front firewall to just before the seat rails. Please note that the floor pan patch is not an exact pressing of the original floor pan. The pedal pressing may need to be massaged into shape, and if you plan to unbolt the original floor pan to replace the section at the body, the holes at the body may need to be re-drilled. In these cases, it is recommended to use full pan halves.

This patch panel is particularly useful for areas where snow or water has caused rust by the pedals. Although the manufacturer refers to this as a "half" pan, it actually covers approximately 30% of the entire floor pan. A front "half" and a rear "half" will not cover the entire length of the vehicle.

Unless you're making you own repair panel, when replacing or repairing any sheet metal, never cut out the old metal until you have the replacement piece. The floor pan patch panels are just that, patches. They are not intended to be a full replacement so expect to cut, shape and modify as needed to get the patch fit.
