Replacement Left Rear Floor Pan Patch Panel for VW Beetle

Covers from the rear cross rail to just before the seat rails
Approximately 20% floor coverage

This replacement Left Rear Floor Pan patch panel is designed for rusted out, damaged, or cankered floor pan sections. This panel covers the area from the rear cross rail to just before the seat rails. The manufacturer states it fits all year Beetles, but in our opinion, it fits 1972 and earlier Beetles the best. Customers have also reported successful installation on later year Beetles.

Note that this pan is not as wide as the full replacement sections and does not cover the area under the heater channel. Although we refer to these panels as "quarters," they actually cover approximately 20% of the floor. A front "quarter" and a rear "quarter" will not cover the entire length of the vehicle. If rust extends into the seat rail/track area, it is recommended to use full pan halves instead.

Unless you're making you own repair panel, when replacing or repairing any sheet metal, never cut out the old metal until you have the replacement piece. The floor pan patch panels are just that, patches. They are not intended to be a full replacement so expect to cut, shape and modify as needed to get the patch fit.
