Our high-density, Beetle, Type 3, and Thing seat pads are manufactured from injection molded foam to guarantee great fit and comfort. We recommend replacing your seat foam when installing new seat upholstery to guarantee the best fit, finish, and appearance. You don't want to spend the time, effort, and money on new seat upholstery only to have it look sad and droopy because of old, worn-out foam. The injection molded foam is a better overall product and material compared to the original horsehair padding.

If you have later model seats and you have cut or plan to cut off the headrests, this is the correct seat foam for the front seats.

We highly recommend purchasing burlap or sisel pads when installing new seat foam. A layer of burlap or sisel will keep the springs from eating into the foam over time.
