Flywheel Lock for Classic VWs

Works on both 6 volt (180mm) and 12 volt (200mm) flywheels
The engine must be removed for this flywheel lock to be used
Locks the flywheel in place during repair or maintenance when you don't want the engine to turn
We recommend bolting the flywheel tool to one of the upper mounting points on the engine case using the included hardware
It can be slid over one of the lower engine studs to locate it on the flywheel, but be careful not to break an engine stud

This universal flywheel lock can be used on both 6 Volt or 12 Volt flywheels and is the perfect tool to use during maintenance and repairs when you don't want the engine to spin. This tool will only work when the engine has been removed from the vehicle and we recommend mounting it using the hardware that is included and bolting it into place through one of teh upper mounting mounts on the engine case. This tool is perfect if you have to loosen the flywheel nut, replace the clutch, remove the crank pulley, and any other time you need to make sure that the engine doesn't rotate.
