The VW link pin rebuild kit fits Type 1, through 1965. With this kit you are able to complete both sides for repairs.

After pressing the link pin bushings into the steel carrier, the bushings may shrink slightly. VW used the VW 224 reamer tool to open the bushings up to the correct size for the link pins. An original or reproduction reamer (or a .710" reamer) must be used if the link pins do not slide into the bushings easily.
