VW Tech Article: Front Beam, Link Pin 1960-65
Link Pin Front End for 1960.5-1965 Type 1
Link Pin front ends were originally found on early VW Beetles through 1965. 1954-1960.5 did not use steering dampers while 1960.5-1965 did. Always check part description to make sure it is compatible with your vehicle.• 1954-62 Link Pin Front ends use 10mm upper shock bolts.
• 1963-65 Link Pin Front ends use 12mm upper shock bolts.
